Excited to announce...

Ben & I will have a niece next year! I'm so excited that my little sister will be having a girl, and Mackenna will have a little cousin to play with. Coming April 2013, Stella McGuire.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving, from Turks & Caicos. We are having a fabulous vacation, with perfect weather and even better company.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for:

-My mom & Grandpa Rodney (and Annie) who have been watching our little girl this week and doing a wonderful job. The photos and updates have made the distance seem manageable.

-My new job that I start on Monday. After a tough year with my current job, I am so blessed to have found an opportunity that seems like the beginning to a rewarding career in housing. Its a brand new company that is dedicated to providing a great service to the public, and I'm extremely grateful to have been offered the position.

-Our tenants at Devonshire. We've got a great bunch of people in there and they make being a landlord very easy. I'm so thankful for the care they take in the house.

-Checking one thing off my bucket list this week; Scuba Diving. Being forty feet below the ocean was a surreal experience. Ben and I got to swim within inches of a stingray, and be among a school of fish.

-A great daycare provider. After a tough transition this summer from our "first" daycare provider, a grueling search for a new one, and than choosing Monique... we are fortunate to say that we love having Mackenna with her. She has been wonderful with our girl, and our girl loves going to her. Great childcare is hard to find, and truly priceless.

-My friends and family. I cant say enough about the supportive group of friends and family that surround me. I have a growing family in 2013, with the addition of a niece or nephew McGuire. And, Ben and I welcome Becky's fiancee Michael into the "family" later in 2013.

Happy Birthday, sweet Madisyn!

Madi is ONE! Mackenna's birth-month- buddy, born September 30th, 2011, turned one and had a great birthday party at Peekaboo in Westbrook. This is one of a few parties that we have been to at Peekaboo Childrens Center, and what a great place for a party! It's been a joy to watch Madi grow up over the last year. She is just the most smiley little baby I've ever seen. Always happy and a grin rarely leaves her face. We remember meeting little Madi at Maine Med, just a short time ago: Meeting Madisyn

More Deer Photos...

... thanks to the Wescotts camera! If you can't tell by these photos, Ben is pretty proud of this deer. It's the largest deer he's ever taken, and it has quite the rack. Congratulations again, Ben.

Another one bites the dust!

Ben has gotten a second deer this season. It looks like there will be plenty of venison to eat this winter for the Siemens! Here is the deer hanging in the Wescotts' garage, awaiting being cut up Monday night. Of course, Mackenna had to see Dad's big buck, 140 lbs and an 8 Pointer.

• I love my blanket(s)
• I eat a banana every morning. 
• I love necklaces, scarves, bracelets, hats, sunglasses... any accessories.
• I babble baby talk all day long.
• I say nana, milk, 'all done,' and other new words.
• I am working on standing unsupported. 
• My best friend at daycare is Brayelle. She's a few months younger than me.
• I'm learning where my 'eyes' and 'nose' are, and point them out.
