Beach Day!

Mackenna is such a lucky little girl. When she visits her Grandma Judy, she will either get to go to "The Big City," or the cabin on the lake. When she visits her Grandpa, she will get to go to the country and ride horses. And when she visits her Nana, she will get to go to the ocean. I have no doubt Mackenna will grow up enjoying the beach, and have so many opportunities to go.

Yesterday was 90 degrees here in Southern Maine, so we packed up the car and headed to Crescent Beach for the day with our friends Rick and Erin. Despite my awful sun burn (Ben put the sunscreen on me...) we had a blast. I had the perfect little setup in the shade for Mackenna, and she loved it. At first she was afraid of the salt water- pool, but by the 10th attempt- she loved it.
