Five months of being sisters!

Five Months.

I'm 5 Months Old!

• I have rolled both stomach to back and back to stomach.
• I am happy during tummy time.
• I do a small giggle.
• I wear size 2 diapers
• I eat roughly 7 oz every 3 hours during the day, for a total of five feedings.
• I wear 3-6 month clothing and size 2 shoes.
• I take a bath every other night with my big sister. She loves to pour the water on me.
• I am still the happiest baby on the block.
• I wake up smiling every morning. 
• I love playing in my jumperoo and bumbo seat.
• I've been on a hike, camping, and two boat rides.

Dakota's Schedule

Dakota’s Schedule at 4 Months Old:

Wakes up around 4-5 am. We give her a small 4-6 ounce bottle, since we don't want her to get too used to this, but she is pretty hungry.

7 am Bottle (7 oz)

Playtime

8:30-10 am Nap

10 am Bottle (7 oz)

Playtime

11:30-1 Nap

1 pm Bottle (7 oz)

Playtime

2:30-4 Nap

4 pm Bottle (7 oz)

6-7ish catnap

7:30 Bottle (7 oz)

8:30 Down for bed in her crib, sleeping on her stomach with the noise machine on. Typically stays asleep in her crib for half of the night.

Anywhere from 1 - 3 am, she wakes up crying in her crib and we bring her into bed with us where she falls asleep again.

It's been a crazy past few weeks. Between going back to work, Ben traveling for work and pleasure, and the everyday chaos of our girls- we haven't stopped moving! Here are some photos from the life of the Siemens lately. 

Dakota's 4 Month Check Up

The results are in, and our little peanut of a baby has really chunked up over the last month. She's gone from the 12th percentile to the 56th percentile for weight in a matter of 2 months, and is up to the 73rd percentile for height. Her weight at 4 months is 14.4 lbs, and her length is 25 inches. At 4 months, big sister Mackenna was 14.4 lbs and 25.5 inches. Safe to say they are related! 

The pediatrician commented that he was impressed with how social she was, as she was talking and smiling the whole time. She even made him laugh a few times with her funny faces. Once again, we are grateful to have such healthy babes. 

Four Months.

I'm 4 Months Old!

• I drool and chew on everything, I think I am teething.
• I do a lot of baby talk.
• I giggle.
• I can roll onto my side.
• I'm starting to grab objects.

• My hands are always in my mouth.
• I go to bed between 8-10 at night, and wake up at 1 AM and 4 AM to eat.
• I've moved to sleeping in an arms- out style swaddle at night.
• I've been sleeping in bed with Mom and Dad.

• My sister calls me her best friend.

• I am wearing 3 month clothing.
• I am wearing size 2 diapers.
• I drink 5- 6 ounces at a time.
• I pull my moms long hair.
• I can sit in my bumbo.
