Waterford Road Race

This Sunday I ran my 4th (I think?) Waterford Family 5K. Mackenna ran her first fun run. (Sort of!) Ben and Dakota walked the course.

Apple Picking

{I'm back!}

Sunday was a beautiful mid- 60's fall day in Maine. We took the little ones apple picking at Randalls Orchard with the Wescotts. As you can see, it was a good time had by all! 

Eight Months.

I'm 8 Months Old!

• I screech often, and my sister and I have screaming matches and giggle.
• My big sister (still) calls me her best friend, Toey bear. 
• I sit up and reach far for objects. 
• I eat finger food.
• I have had water in a sippy cup.
• I love to reach and grab my feet.
• I am just starting to eat meals with my family, and pieces of the food everyone else is eating. So far, I like everything I have tried.
• I sleep through the night most nights. Occasionally, I wake up around midnight and just need cuddling or my pacifier.
• I love bath time.
• I have upgraded to a big girl car seat, rear facing.
• I've been on my first plane ride, to Orlando FL.

Happy 3rd Birthday Mackenna!

The cliche saying is back again for another year. Time sure does fly, and we don't know where the past 3 years have gone. Happy birthday to our smart, stubborn, sassy, sweet, energetic and amazing big sister, Mackenna. You are a ball of love and enthusiasm all in one. This past year has been the most fun for us to watch you, even though we grew a few gray hairs. This year you became a big sister, and we watched you fall in love with little "Toey Bear," your baby sister.

Since we are in the middle of a move right now, Nana hosted a birthday dinner party for Mackenna. It was a "Monsters" theme, since her favorite movies are Monsters Inc and Monsters University.

Seven Months

I'm 7 Months Old!

• I can sit up unsupported for long periods of time.
• I have 4 bottles a day, and 2 meals a day consisting of oatmeal and pureed vegetables.
• I nap 3 times a day, roughly at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM.
• I sleep through the night from 8 to 6.
• I still have just my two bottom teeth.
• I love to drink water through a sippy cup.
• I smile all day long.
• I have rolls everywhere!
• I giggle when my sister plays with me.
